* we either become a stronger human race or mass chaos will ensue because we are no longer able to handle middle ground.
* college and professional sports should be on hold until September at the earliest.
* DJ Nice is one of my new favorite people. I will follow him forever now.
* communication is so important in these times and when it is poor it is so easy to recognize.
* you need to take moments with the youngest members of your families and understand they are the reason we need to be smart about physical distancing.
* you are getting tired of celebrities that are promoting products during this time instead of promoting charity.
* entertainment on Instagram Live, Facebook Live and YouTube has been pretty special.
* I am here for each and every one of you and if you need anything let me know.

We're taking bets that sometimes you are wrong...

Over the years I have been wrong about a great many things. Usually it is related to something I couldn't possibly know, but have the arrogance to think I am right anyway. Other times it is based on my favorite sports teams and my faith they will win. When I was younger I was wrong many times about the person I liked as they inevitably never liked me back. Being wrong is a hard thing to accept, but is something we really need to embrace in order for us to grow.

Which leads me to my thought of when you really think you are wrong about something but could be right. Are you actually wrong if you think you are wrong, but actually right? This is a dilemma I am running through in my head. All the signs point to me being completely wrong, but there is something nagging at me telling me you are probably right. Of course this could just be the next chapter in my dropping into madness. Hopefully I will be wrong so all can be right with the world again, but maybe I am right and things will be even more right with the world than before.

We're taking bets that your thoughts can cause you trouble...

Hey blog. I hope you are doing well. Sadly my thoughts are keeping me up again. I really need the sleep and cannot figure out how to get it. Just rehashing stuff that doesn't need to be thought of any more. Reality should have set in by now, but my mind keeps trying to find alternatives. Ultimately I am what I am and others are what they are. Why in the world would I be a part of their thoughts or should I even be? It's kind of like that Far Side where the guy is wondering stuff and the girl realizes she really likes vanilla. It is not even that complicated. I really like vanilla, but so doesn't everyone else.

I have decided it is fun to rant to you because even when I rant it is mostly nonsensical. Of course it makes sense to me, but it shouldn't. Thanks again for listening blog. Talk to you again soon.

* even if you love dogs a high pitched yipping dog will get on your nerves.
* seeing someone come up from giving road head in the car next to you is a little disturbing.
* I should pay more attention to the road ahead than the cars next to me.
* the Sox and Yankees are both awful this year and will not meet in the playoffs.
* Prince has so much great music that many people haven't even heard it is a shame.
* Prince might be one of the most gifted lyricists of all time.
* you are getting old if you remember when Prince loved Appollonia.
* there is something strangely exciting about these grilled cheeses.
* being who others thing you are all the time is exhausting because it just isn't the real you.
* the Capitals might actually win the Stanley Cup this year.
* getting a weird handshake from a father of a potential student is probably the best thing to happen to me today.
* the definition of sexy is all in the eyes of the beholder, but this site is pretty on with this post.

Hayley Atwell from Agent Carter is unbelievably beautiful. Smart and sexy is one of the best combinations. She has a crazy beautiful smile.

We're taking bets that once you go down the rabbit hole you have to find a new way out...

I have made some sound decisions in my life but they seem to be the wrong ones now. I am not sure if I can move past what has happened. One little thing has turned into one big thing. Funny thing is that I am the only one who knows it. They say Virgos could be on the verge of death and no one would know it. I am not quite that dramatic, but I need relief. I am getting some help, but it cannot come quick enough. Thankfully, I have things to make me happy even if they are fleeting. The joy in just one smile even if it is not meant for me is good enough. * you are secretly going to miss American Idol next January.
* the top 5 winners of American Idol are Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Phillip Phillips, and David Cook
* the top 5 non-winners of American Idol are Jennifer Hudson, Lauren Alaina, Clay Aiken, Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtery.
* the Bruins did not deserve to make the playoffs, but neither did the Red Wings.
* being sick is never fun even if you are pampered.
* I don't get pampered.
* Quinnipiac Men's Hockey did not play well enough to win the championship.
* QU Men's Hockey will win the National Championship in the next 5 years.
* newspapers like the Boston Globe are still worthwhile especially when they post things like this.

We're taking bets that trying is important...

It is not easy to try something that should help you. Everyone believes they are self aware, but most of us really have no clue what we need. I am trying something new and I think that it will help, but it might get me to conclusions I really don't want. I am no where near there yet, but I have never felt closer. It's kind of like watching a little kid be afraid of heights, but attempt to go to the edge. They are at least 20 feet from the edge, but they feel like they are falling off a cliff. That sums up how I am feeling.

Sadly, I cannot say that because it means that I am not giving this try a chance. I really am though, but what ever happens I know I won't quite be the same. Which really isn't a bad thing, but maybe it is. Don't you love the ability to turn a positive into a negative and back again with a comma and the word "but". So very simple.

Still trying to figure out a few thoughts. They won't go away and it really is freaking me out. I can honestly say that I am lost when it comes to those thoughts because they will happen when I am least expecting it and on a completely different topic. I find myself having those thoughts having emotions tied with them and they needing to shake them out of my head. It is amazing how crazy that sounds when I read out loud to myself. Blog, I hope you know that I am revealing everything and nothing all at the same time. It is nice to get them out.

Just remember trying is important.

* even when you think the path you are on is good something can throw you off quickly.
* the mind is a terrible thing to waste, but it is even worse to use too much.
* snow makes good people crazy sometimes.
* you are getting old if you remember when Yeah! by Usher came out.
* venting to another person is completely healthy until you over share.
* fabric softener is the greatest laundry invention since laundry machines.
* there is way too many great things on TV/Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/Etc. to really be up to date with pop culture.
* if you don't listen to Jess Glynne you are really missing out on a great singer.
* even though you probably don't watch you are going to miss that American Idol is no longer on the air after Wednesday.
* being a fraud is not a real thing because no one is truly a fraud they are just hiding their real self.

* life takes a lot of turns you have no idea are coming, but if you are a good driver you can navigate them.
* the Cubs will not win the World Series.
* the Red Sox will make the playoffs this year.
* Trump should scare all Americans if he becomes the President and the fact that he doesn't means we have a bunch of things to fix.
* it is odd when my mother and I agree on something when it comes to politics.
* I still can't back her candidate, but at least she doesn't approve of Trump.
* we have to find ways to be better to each other because love truly does heal.
* it's crazy how the littlest things can have the biggest effect on your mood.
* there is no easy way to lie to yourself, but people do it every single day.
* if you have not heard Leah Guest's version of 7 years you need to.
* I really miss writing this blog.
* some days the loneliest days are the ones you are surrounded by a ton of people.

We're taking bets that I might be in trouble...

I am sorting of losing my mind. Not really, but I am feeling a little lost and confused. I don't really feel like I can share so I decided to just write this little piece to make myself feel better. Not sure it is helping, but at least I can move the thoughts from my head to the internet. That always helps things.

The thing is I was myself and something happened I cannot explain. I can't get it out of my head and it is driving me up a wall. I want to reach out to a number of different people, but everyone will judge me. Rightfully so as it is really something that is completely in my head and not real, but for some reason I cannot shake the feelings it is inducing. All the feels.

Thanks for listen blog. I am sorry I have not been attentive, but know someday I will be back and we will share to the world again.

* it doesn't matter how many school shootings we have we will not get meaningful gun control in this country.
* just because people want meaningful gun control does not mean we want to take away 2nd amendment rights.
* the trailer for the new Bond movie, SPECTRE, looks real cool.
* happy people are amazing and a little bit annoying.
* you know you are old when you realize that you can be your students parents.
* the Pittsburgh Steelers need a new placekicker.
* if you haven't seen the video of the bees swarming a police officer's car you need to check it out.
* shirts with animal faces on them are really creepy.
* the Yankees are going to have a short time in the playoffs.

* you never thought this blog would be started again.
* sometimes old can be new and hip again.
* it is fun to try to end every sentence with the word again.
* it would be amazing if the Red Sox stayed in third place in the AL East after such a shitty year again.
* your new celebrity/sports crush should be Adriana Leon for the Canadien women's soccer team.
* Kim Davis is probably working for the devil and is trying to crush all that is good from gay marriage to Pope Francis.

We're taking bets that...

* Catching Fire was a really great sequel to the Hunger Games.
* no one really thought this was possible.
* some scientists have really too much time and grant money on their hands.
* if a blog is written in the technology world and no one is reading it, it might not exist.
* the Broncos/Patriots game will be the most exciting of the NFL season thus far.
* holding is holding is holding.
* stealing a million dollar scratch ticket is pretty awful.
* you can't wait for Thanksgiving Day.

We're taking bets that Marvel is good for entertainment...

I have really enjoyed the last Marvel outing of Thor: The Dark World. It was an interesting tale with lots of action, humor and intrigue. Thor also had a great message about power and how it can blind you from doing the right thing.

Additionally, I have been enjoying the new TV show Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It stars Clark Gregg as good old Agent Coulson from all of the Marvel movies. He has a fun group of agents that seemed mismatched, but work together. The stories are starting to get very interesting now that they have moved on from the introductions. I think that if they get a minor Marvel villain as the season's foil it will become an even better show. Though you have to have faith in Joss Whedon.

Marvel is in the news everywhere with it's deal with Netflix that will produce four TV shows and the new X-Men and Captain America movies. It is bringing one of the most creative story telling to the mainstream world. Comics might seem stupid to a lot of people, but there is a ton of creativity in the story telling. Yes, they are not based in reality, but what is? I am glad that I am a small fan of comics. I think that we need more heroes in our lives. Tragedies like Sandy Hook and the disaster in the Philippines show us that we need more heroes in our world.

* I love that Dirty Water.
* Big Papi is amazing and anyone who disparages him is just jealous.
* you can't figure out if Emma Stone is actually hot or not.
* it is hard to stop loving the dog in the Darth Vader costume.
* you are relieved that you can finally use electronic devices on airplanes.
* this may be the grossest story I have shared in a long time with my reader.
* 10 year old Boston fans only know of winning Boston teams.
* Beyonce is one of the coolest people alive and this is why.

* not tipping your waiter because you think he is gay is probably one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.
* hatred comes in all forms, but sometimes it is so baffling you just have to shake your head.
* if the Sox win tonight they will probably win the World Series.
* Boston fans born in 1991 and later are spoiled regarding Boston sports.
* sometimes you need to plan your catchphrases.
* most of the phone tapping NSA scandal stuff started in the Bush administration, but Obama is going to take the blame.
* if you are not listening to Aloe Blacc, you are missing out on a future legend.

* some people actually can't be replaced and you just need to go a different direction in hiring someone new.
* this photo is actually amazing and I don't think it could be duplicated.
* the World Series is going to go seven games.
* we need to find a way for our youth to understand that teachers are people to be revered, not hated or disrespected.
* candy factories should not have the ability to explode.
* you cannot wait for the next XMen trailer.
* the Kansas City Chiefs will not win a play-off game this year and you heard it here first.
* even when you are right you can be wrong.
* if you do not watch SyFy's Haven you are missing excellent television.
* David Ortiz will hit 5 home runs during this World Series.

* unless I ask no one is reading this blog.
* it makes it harder to write when no one is reading.
* you are struggling with understand how our government is still shut down.
* the MLB playoffs are much more exciting when you team is in it.
* only Jimmy Fallon could make you like Miley Cyrus again.
* you forgot Miley Cyrus was actually talented.
* defaulting on the governments debt will only hurt the United States no matter what you hear from some politicians.
* doing this blog during the work day is not a smart thing because getting sidetracked is very easy.
