* Quinnipiac is going to be the place to be this Spring and many of you are going to miss it.
* Brian Williams is the most fun anchor ever to grace network TV.
* you probably missed Penguin Awareness day on Tuesday.
* this article has old Southerners reaching for their phones to call Billy Graham.
* most people are going to join a group regarding Haiti, but most people won't give a dime to help.
* even when I am right there is probably someone saying I am wrong.
* Carlton Fisk is a bad ass calling out Mark McGwire and Roger Clemens.
* you can't take any more images coming out of Haiti even if they are rescues.
* the tree did talk dirty to him.
* no matter what you do you can't please everyone with diversity.
* the best thing to watch regarding the Conan-Leno fiasco is Leno's 2004 announcement.
* Leno does look like an idiot now.
* it would be badass to have a scale of measurement named after you like the Madrid Scale measures awesomeness. :)

We're taking bet that they have gone missing...

Whatever happened to Ashley Williams? She was originally the hottie on Good Morning Miami, which was not a good show, but she was very cute. She then was highered to be Ted's love interest as a baker in How I Met Your Mother. She was awesome on the show and very cute again. I would like her to make a comeback and I do think she would be awesome as the woman Ted finally ended up with. I just think she should be part of our weekly television lives and hope she finds the right vehicle to shoot to stardom!

We're taking bets that it is funny to see a skinny or fat version of a friend...

Here are a couple of random things:

* Being a fat guy I feel like there is probably a skinny version of me somewhere in this world. Today I saw a fat version of a friend and it made laugh because although I knew it wasn't that person what if it was. When people you haven't seen in a while change dramatically it is both unsettling and funny.

* Chris Dodd was a great Senator for Connecticut regardless of his party affiliation and he will be missed by the entire state. I do think that Richard Blumenthal is going to run away with the election. Who doesn't like that guy? Besides Republicans?

* Bringing Jay Leno back to 11:35 will be a huge mistake and probably ruin Conan. Jay is the entertainment version of Brett Favre and we all know how annoying he is. The thing is I don't think he will get the results Brett has with Minnesota. The sad thing is Conan is doing a good job and will probably hit his stride in another 6 to 8 months. NBC you used to be my favorite station, but now you are killing me and yourself.

* the Patriots will win this week, but then it will be a horrible defeat.

* it is funny when you get told that you seem like you could be a professor in a college.

* it is not shocking that KFC is being called racist for the ad in this article.

* the suspension of Gilbert Arenas is the smartest thing David Stern has done since he rigged the Patrick Ewing draft for the Knicks.

* LOST will be awesome and the fact that it returns on Groundhog Day makes me super excited.

* Rex Ryan is an idiot and I would tell him to his face, but I think he would try to beat me up.

* angry is an okay feeling and you should not tell people to calm down, but rather let them do and say whatever they want to feel better.

* stealing hair is a crime just ask bald people.

* it is good to be back writing my blog again. Hopefully people will start to read it.

* you are psyched Modern Family is back with a new episode tonight.

* Lose 50 pounds by August 1.
* Lose 75 pounds by Christmas.
* Visit my parents in South Carolina before November.
* Blog at least 5 times each week.
* Find a new job that starts on July 1, 2010.
* Take a trip to somewhere I have not been before.
* Do yoga at least twice a week.
* Get a new TV.
* See 30 movies in the movie theater.

I have a resolution blog tomorrow that will deal with the things I am tired about and going to move on from. Then I will have a positive what I am going to accomplish blog. Captain Lou Albano died today. He was one of the greatest WWF managers ever. He also was a big star in Cyndi Lauper videos. Lou's death made the world a little bit less fun today. Sorry to see you go Lou.

* sometimes I just can't.
* it was a bad week for me to stop blogging because there was a lot of stupid things this past week.
* there should be a national vote on whether doing something totally inappropriate during someone's speech should be called pulling a Kanye or doing a Joe Wilson.
* the funniest thing I heard was that it was "National Outburst Week". Big ups to Bryan.
* you have to just love "pole dancing doll".
* there are not too many things better than being at a walk-off win.
* I almost cannot stop laughing when I hear the Jets saying they are going to embarrass the Patriots this week.
* just because a woman was horribly killed at Yale does not mean New Haven is a bad city.
* this gives true meaning to "My Dad can beat up your Dad!!!"

I am sorry I have been away, but I thought that it would be best to be radio silent for a little while so that my typed words could not be misinterpreted or something wrong could be said. We're taking bets that...

* you are excited the NFL starts on Thursday.
* the Patriots and Giants are going to battle in the Super Bowl again.
* Martin Luther King Jr. said a lot of great things, but choosing the right one to put on a t-shirt is difficult.
* when the Earth gets hungry it will eat anything.
* Obama's speech to school children was actually pretty impressive and critics should be ashamed that they complained.
* if you want to find someone inspiring you should read about Muhammad Ali.
* wealthy people need to give more money to the poor if this is how they are going to waste their money.
* stonewalls are actually kind of cool.
* Tila Tequila and Shawn Merriman could have only ended in a crazy fight.

* the Pittsburgh Pirates are not as bad as they used to be, but losing still fits them.
* you cannot figure out why when someone on a hallucinogen freaks out they always lose their pants.

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...

Hottie Mila Kunis is in the new movie Extract this week and I think she needs a little recognition. She was fabolous in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and now she is tempting Jason Bateman. Although I want to dislike her because she drove me crazy as Jackie on That 70's Show I love her in movies. Hopefully she becomes a new romantic comedy lead.

We're taking bets that I give a Hout...

If you are into sports at all you have probably heard about LeGarrette Blount of the University of Oregon punching Bryon Hout. The clip is below if you missed it. After that he tried to fight some fans who were taunting him. Blount was suspended for the entire season for his actions and I believe rightfully so. What has not been talked about is the fact that Hout taunted him and deserves some punishment as well. I don't believe it should be as severe, but his actions led to the actions of another. If LeGarrette didn't go all Kiefer Sutherland on him it probably wouldn't have even been noticed.

Here is how I view Hout: He is clearly the guy that is always in the other teams face, saying stupid things and pissing everyone off. Then when the other team says something or pushes him he says, "What? I didn't do anything." or he fakes falling down. If he was on my team I would want to punch him in the face like LeGarrette did. There is no room in sports for sore winners or idiots after the game is over. Trash talking is one thing, but taunting is another. I hope that Boise State wises up and at least suspends Bryon a game suspension for his part in the incident.
