* it was shocking when Chris Daughtry was booted off of American Idol.
* it wasn't shocking when James Frey said that his second book isn't completely true either.
* the Yankees are going to miss Hideki Matsui more than they realize.
* after hearing about all of the NSA phone call listening stuff you are kind of afraid to use the telephone.
* it is sad to hear about the dead penguins in Argentina.
* the NHL's Western Conference finals are going to be the best games of the playoffs regardless of who wins the Sharks/Oilers series.
* some people just have too much free time on their hands.

You know, it's been a running joke with my friends that I have a Johnny Damon voo doo doll and he'd break his arm soon. So my doll was a little off...it's still going to make a difference!!!!
And also, doesn't a small part of you want to make up some crazy story to tell someone on the phone-something that would lead them to silly and embarassing places?
