* I have too much to say not to blog more often than I have been.
* it was nice to hear that I was missed by so many people.
* it was only 5 people, but that can be a lot.

* you are excited that the baseball season is now in full swing.
* it is still weird that guys like to keep there hands down their sweatpants indoors.
* your NCAA pool was ruined by having four #1 seeds in the Final Four.
* women are going to do CPR on a lot more men that need it now that they don't have to touch the guys lips.
* I appreciate that some people even missed my Hottie of the Week.
* stalking is not cool, but at least she was stalking someone cool.
* sometimes cake is better as a weapon than to eat.
* karma can be a bitch when it bites you.
* this is not an April Fool's joke and I really am blogging.

We're taking bets that I am on a writer's strike...
Hey everyone!!! I am sorry I have not been writing lately. Life has gotten a little busy. I promise to be back on St. Patrick's Day. I will be bringing the funny so I hope you are ready. I will be in North Carolina and Missouri until then. See you next week.

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...
Hottie Maura Tierney has always been a favorite of mine ever since NewsRadio. She was always cute in a professional sort of way. No not as a hooker, but business like. She is great on ER even though I only watch that if I am unbelievably bored. She is in Will Farrell's Semi-Pro and she will probably never be a big movie start, but she is one of my Hotties.

We're taking bets that crawling under your desk doesn't solve problems...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope you are having a better week than I am. Lots of drama at the Q. I know it will end soon, but I feel like there is a little black cloud hovering over the things I am doing. I have a few work related questions for everyone. I hope you enjoy. I will be blogging about LOST later.
A. What is your favorite thing on your desk today?
B. Do you have a funny nickname for someone at your job that they don't know about?
C. What is the longest and shortest commute you have ever had to a job?
Answers:
A. Today it is my Valentine's Day card from four of my students. They were very nice and shy when they gave it to me and it made me feel great that they thought about me.
B. Most people would think I would, but I actually don't. If this was last year I did, but not this year.
C. My shortest commute was zero minutes because my office was in my apartment. My longest commute was 25 minutes from So. Windsor to Springfield. I hated that ride because gas prices suck. Luckily it is now 3 minutes. :)

* sometimes sleep is just something that avoids you at all costs.
* the 2nd most important off-season transaction will be the Red Sox signing Bartolo Colon.
* this guy was kind of a modern day Arsenic and Old Lace.
* sadly only maybe two or three of you have even seen that great movie.
* being a teacher is hard, but this is a little overboard.
* Hilary Clinton is going down fighting against Barack.
* Vanderbilt has the best basketball court for home court advantage in the country.
* you didn't know that Great Britain has around 200 earthquakes a year.

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...
80 years old and Oscar doesn't look a day over 25. Since the Oscars are tonight I really felt I should recognize one of the most famous award statues in the world.

We're taking bets that you miss the Hatch...
LOST is on again tonight and I am excited. Hopefully everyone is psyched after last week's shocker. Ben is alive in the future. WOW. This week's episode deals with Kate. According to TV Guide at least. So I have a few things that I wonder about Kate in the present and future and a couple of other things.
* Who is the guy she is with? I am pretty sure it is not Sawyer. I think that she is also working for Ben and her job is to get close to someone. Who would it be? Could it be Penny's Dad or someone related to Penny. I think he is involved somehow.
* Kate looks like she is going to get with Sawyer again. Is she in love with him or does she actually love Jack? It is quite weird. I think this was a little bit like my high school years. No not really, or even close. Does 100 days qualify you to be in love someone? I still think the two most heartfelt moments were with Jack and Kate. Once when she first met him and she sewed him up and second when he told her he loved her last season.
* Why was there a thirty-one minute delay from the ship? That was really weird. My sister thinks Ben or Jacob can bend time, but I think that is a little far fetched. I just don't get that.
* When will Michael come back? I think he is the person on the boat. This is the first place that I have divulged that thought. It has to be someone we already know and Michael really does owe Ben for letting him go free with Walt.
* Will a Taller Walt be a major player in the end of this show? I think that he really will make some cool entrance this season. He might be the most intriguing person on the show next to Desmond.
* Is there going to be another station? Remember how cool it was to find the Hatch? I know they have barracks, but maybe there is another station with stuff relating to everyone. Remember there was the map on the wall. I wonder.
No matter what happens LOST keeps raising the bar. It is a great show that has captured my imagination and makes me truly think. It really is worth getting the DVDs and watching it all over again. I have finally gotten my friend Greg to start watching. Doesn't he have a great name? Just think we have 10 more episodes thing season and 35 more after that. YEAH!!!

We're taking bets that TiVo is awesome...
So everyone who reads my blog knows I got Tivo 2 years ago. It changed my life in a very positive way. I could be anywhere in the world safely knowing that my favorite shows would record. I could watch them at my leisure. I even could try a new show if someone recommended it to me. It was great and I never missed the Daily Show anymore.
Well the day before the premiere of LOST this season it broke. It would no longer receive the signal. This was almost panic time because I then had to be home on Thursday nights. Now I am not a have plans every single night person, but I have some things to do. I was a little bit upset.
I thought it might be the cord and I tried everything. Finally I had to call TiVo to see if the great technicians could figure anything out. They did not have any new ideas. So after speaking to three different people they gave me to the super customer service guy. He saw that I was a loyal customer and offered me a free exchange. I now will be able to record two shows at once. Wow! I know that many cable companies offer DVR, but TiVo is still the best. You should try Tivo because it is AWESOME!!!

* Lebron was pretty awesome again last night in the All-Star Game.

* LOST was so awesome on Thursday that it might not be able to top itself.
* the Patriots did not cheat to win any of their Super Bowls.

We're taking bets that today is a made up day of love...
Hello WTBT readers!!! Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that everyone is making Hallmark successful. I think it is funny how many people hate Valentine's Day. People should appreciate that there is love in this world and not hate the fact that there is a day dedicated to it. Oh well enough ranting. Here are a few Valentine's Day related questions. I hope you enjoy.
A. Who is your celebrity crush currently?
B. Where would you like to go for a Valentine's Day dinner if money was no option?
C. How many Valentine's are you sending today?
Answers:
A. Ellen Page from Juno. She is quite a cutie although she is a little young for me.
B. I would go to Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston. It has great food and overlooks the Boston Harbor. Their popovers are excellent and I love Seafood.
C. Over 600. I have a lot of students. :)

We're taking bets that's a relief! I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to use the liar, liar, pants-on-fire defense.
I have been relatively quiet regarding Roger Clemens and his alleged HGH/Steroids use. The evidence is starting get stacked against him and I truly think he used some bad stuff. I have not been a fan of Roger since he left the Red Sox in a huff because GM Dan Duquette said he was in the declining years of his career. It was true at the time and surprisingly he started to become an even better player over the next 10 years.
He is now in front of Congress calling his ex-trainer Brian McNamee a liar. He said that one of his best friend's Andy Pettitte misremembered conversations regarding steroids even though Andy has admitted his use. Funny that he doesn't call him a liar too. I think that Roger Clemens is a cheater and he truly ruined what was a great career by using performance enhancing drugs. He was never Nolan Ryan and he never will be. It is a shame we villified Dan Duquette, because maybe he was right. More information will come out and Roger will one day be apologizing to all of his fans. I just wish that the Barry Bonds case could be more conclusive.

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...
Hottie Miranda Lambert goes for a Grammy's tonight. She heated up the charts with Kerosene and is now a Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She is only 24 and seems to have many great albums ahead of her. She just needs one megahit to join Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, Faith Hill as one of the most popular country singers.

We're taking bets that the new LOSTies are evil...
So it was another fantastic episode of LOST last night. Of course it sparked a ton of questions to go along with the answers that we were given. Here are a few thoughts that I had and I am wondering what you all think.
1. Who was Daniel's wife in the first scene? I am pretty sure she is related to someone from LOST. I don't know why the first person I thought was she was Jack's wife. It is always interesting when they one show someone, but only their bottom half.
2. Who is the creepy tall black guy? He obviously knows there are people on the island. Why does every bad guy have some odd distinguishing feature. Ben has the eyes and this guy has the veiny neck. He definitely does not work for Oceanic.
3. The pilot definitely knew not to get on that plane. Why do you think that was? Who tipped him off?
4. Who and what put the plane in the ocean? Was there really a person in the cockpit or was it just a mannequin to look like the pilot? I think that it was another plane crash that they covered up.

We're taking bets that itching happens...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that things are going well today!!! It seems like time is speeding by and March will be here before you know it. Thankfully the UCONN Huskies are playing well so it could be a fun March Madness. Below are a few questions that I think you will enjoy answering. Invite others and have fun.
A. What is one place on your body that itches, but you cannot figure out why?
B. If you have an itch in a private place are you afraid to itch it in public or do you just go to town?
C. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "giggle"?
Answers:
A. I get an itch once in a while right in the middle of my chest. I don't know why, but it bugs me.
B. I believe that if you have to itch go for it unless you need to go into your clothes. Then it is too much for public viewing. Also if it is longer than 10 seconds you are probably just playing with yourself.
C. My little brother when he was 2 years old. He had the best giggle I have ever heard.

We're taking bets that you love fun food...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that everyone is doing well and getting ready for the great month of February. Gotta love that we get 29 days this year!!!! Here is a very simple question about food. I think that everyone can enjoy it. Even Ian. We will see.
A. What are your favorite foods from these 8 letters? (B, E, J, M, P, S, W, Z)
Answer:
B - Butter - Nothing makes food taste better than a dollop of butter.
E - Eclairs - I love a great eclair. It might be my favorite pastry.
J - Jalepenos - The combinaton of weird green and hot flavor makes me happy.
M - Mozzerella - The Fresh kind is probably the best cheese ever. So delicious.
P - Pumpkin - Because my favorite dessert of all time is made out of Pumpkin.
S - Strawberries - There are a lot of "S" foods, but strawberries are the most scrumptious.
W - Wasabi - It makes my eyes water and I love the feeling. It also enhances tasty sushi.
Z - Zucchini - There is nothing like fresh zucchini in the summer to compliment a meal.

We're taking bets I love to be LOST...
LOST is back on Thursday night and I cannot wait. Every critic has said it is well worth the wait. So with my great luck my TiVo is starting to break. Of course technology is going to try and screw me, but I am going to make sure I do not miss it. With all that being said I have FIVE BURNING QUESTIONS for LOST and I hope they can be answered.
1. Who gets off the island?
I mean I know Kate and Jack do. There has to be others. I don't want this to drag on the whole season.
2. Are Michael and Walt going to come back and be badass?
They were gone pretty much all season although Walt looked like he was 20 in the last episode. Michael is definitely coming back, but will it be to the island and will he still be pissed off? We know Walt has come crazy powers. It would be nice to see him use them.
3. What the "F" is the smoke monster?
Can they please answer this question. It is season four and I think we should know by now. It did kill Eko and that made me mad. I want to know what the freak this is.
4. Will they go back to the island?
Jack seemed to be pretty insistent that they should go back to the island. Kate didn't seem so sure. It can't end where the Flash Forward went. That would be too easy.
5. What is Jacob?
He asked Locke for help, but he really didn't look like he was there. Um I know this is a weird island, but ghosts or invisible people. What is that about?

We're taking bets that your childhood was important...
Hello WTBT readers!!! Sorry for the long absence. I was extremely busy and I did not have the full energy to blog with. I am back and will be trying to blog almost everyday with sometimes having two posts a day. Won't that be great! Here are a few questions about your childhood. I hope you enjoy them. Ask others to respond.
A. What books from your childhood would you like to share with your children?
B. What is one thing from elementary school you wished you had in your adult life?
C. Who was your favorite elementary school teacher?
Answers:
A. Well I am not sure this is from my childhood, but it definitely was a part of my brother's. I loved to read him The Monster at the End of the Book. It is a classic read with Grover and should be read to every little kid from age 1 1/2 to 4. I also would share the Great Brain and Encyclopedia Brown books that I loved as a kid.
B. I wish there was recess. Where we all went outside for an hour to play before resuming our day. Wouldn't that be super awesome and it would probably help with the American Obesity problem.
C. I loved Ms. Spinelli. Unfortunately she got married in May and never came back. She was my third grade teacher and I thought she was awesome. Of course it probably was a crush because she was the first pretty teacher I ever had. Most of the rest were kind of ugly.

We're taking bets that it is New England not global warming...
Alright I am someone who feels that global warming is effecting our planet, but I am tired of every time the weather changes that people credit it. We used to have the saying, "Don't like the weather in New England wait five minutes and it will change." So it is 50 degrees today. I remember a Christmas in when I was a kid where we almost wore shorts outside. If it was 60 degrees every day I would say that global warming was placing it's stamp on the Earth. This weather is what has happened in New England for years and will continue to happen. It was only 2001 when we had snow in late May in Massachusetts.
Please do your part to stop global warming, but stop blaming it for everything that happens weather wise.

We're taking bets that you did something stupid this year...
Well everyone makes some mistakes. You might lock your keys in your car or trip going up some stairs but these people take the cake. Some of them are politicians, but most of them are celebrities. It is much more fun picking on public people than the normal ones.
12. Paris Hilton - She was sentenced to prison for driving a suspended license and other things. She then cried about it and wasted more tax payers money.
11. Lindsay Lohan - Rehab should have been her song and not Amy Winehouse's.
10. Vanessa Hudgens - Naked pictures showed up on the internet. She took them herself to impress a boy. What a weirdo.
9. OJ Simpson - Hey OJ you cannot do any wrong because you will get caught faster than a child on a chair with his/her arm in a cookie jar.
8. TMX.com - Calling Jennifer Love Hewitt fat? She smacked you guys down that hopefully you will stop judging others.
7. GWB - He vetoed more bills that would help Americans than he can count to. At least there are less than 400 days left of him.
6. Jamie Lynn Spears - It is time to realize that homeschooling does not teach about condoms.
5. Britney Spears - Shaved her head. Lip synced poorly. An unfit mother and sister. What could she do to save herself?
4. Don Imus - Racist comments and in less than 7 months he is back on the air. I guess he didn't have to pay for his mistake.
3. Film & TV Studio Execs - The writer's strike has just begun to make your life and our life boring.
2. Larry Craig - Playing footsies in a bathroom stall. He doesn't like gay marriage, but he loves gay sex. Sounds queer to me.
1. Michael Vick - Dog fighting and trying to say he had nothing to do with it. Pleads guilty and he is shocked by going to jail for 23 months. I hope I don't hear about him once in 2008.

We're taking bets that you would rather one of the other...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that everyone is enjoying the Holiday season and my Christian friends are readying for Christmas. I am super excited for this time of year. I have a lot more 2007 lists to come in the next week or so. I hope you enjoy. Here are few fun questions. Hopefully you will all come out and answer. Even my QU friends who don't like to comment. :)
A. Would you rather a gift that you asked for or a gift that someone got you that was a total surprise, but not what you wanted?
B. Would you rather give gift cards to people who are hard to buy for or find that perfect gift?
C. Now that you are older would you rather sleep until 9 am on Christmas morning (or later) or still get up at 6 am like you did when you were a kid? (If you don't celebrate Christmas what do you think you would have done as a kid?)
Answers:
A. I would love the gift that was a total surprise although I am not good at reacting. Most people don't know what I am thinking when I get a gift. It is weird because I get kind of expressionless and most people think I don't like what I am getting. Unless it is something I already have. ;)
B. I would love to find the perfect gift. I am in this dilemna right now with my brother. I know he wants certain things, but they are things that typically people pick out for themselves. So he probably will get a gift card.
C. I would love to get up at 6 am and just tear through the presents then take a nap after breakfast. Unfortunately, I do not have an alarm clock at my parents and am reliant on my Dad to wake me up. There is something to be said about acting like a little kid again on Christmas.

We're taking bets that you were as shocked as I was...
Here are a few observations I have had over the last few days...
* I could not believe that Tila Tequila chose Bobby over Dani on A Shot at Love. Heck he was so surprised he didn't even answer her right away. Dani is now the most popular lesbian on the planet and Tila decided to go with a guy. It was craziness!!!
* Jena, LA is going to be a hotbed of bad press for years to come. Now a white separatist group wants to march on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and do not want to comply with the city ordinances. This place just does not get a break, because I am pretty sure if there is a march there a riot will ensue. While I am all for free speech and having your opinions, but I do not understand groups like the KKK and other white separaist groups. Don't they know that society has deemed them crazy? What will it take to get rid of hate because of color or sexual orientation and just hate because someone is a jerk?
* Lynne Spears was going to put a book out on parenting. Thankfully it has been delayed indefinitely. That would be like Roger Clemens writing a book on staying healthy with a proper diet. Don't believe it.
* Please read this article first. Now that you have I think it is safe to say that if you are going to do something crazy like tattoo your penis then you deserve whatever happens to you. So the guy took a picture because it was something crazy. It is not like he made it grow so the letters would be bigger. There are some crazy things in this world and this is definitely one of them. I just like the fact that he keeps getting angrier every moment he thinks about it. Hopefully he is not the Hulk.
* There was a fire today at the Vice-President's ceremonial office on White House grounds. Do you wonder if Dick was trying to get rid of something he shouldn't have? I mean I have no proof, but is seems a little fishy to me.

We're taking bets that OMG....
Everyone who knows me knows that I like celebrity gossip. I feel bad for some of the crap that celebrities have to go through. There are some people I do think are "good" and I hope that they don't get caught up in paparazzi/tabloid crap. Jamie Lynn Spears was one of those people. She was anti her sister and I thought that she would be a pretty popular celebrity for years to come. While that still may be true she is pregnant at 16. She told this to OK! magazine, which I don't read. Now I know a lot of people make a mistake with sex and have accidental pregnancies, but this really is shameful. Has she heard about this new thing called condoms? How crazy is it? I would like a child star to actually be a little bit normal. Maybe Abigail Breslin will be able to be normal.
I know I have some friends rolling their eyes, but this is disappointing to me.

We're taking bets that i have some things I have noticed...
Over the last few days I have noticed some things. Here they are...
* Playing on-line games can be very time-consuming. Especially if you have nothing to do. Boredom is often cured by these games. The only thing is you wonder what you are wasting your life doing.
* Seeing people leave for Winter Break is always a weird thing to me. It is only five weeks and not a lot of things usually happen during that time. Most people act like they are leaving forever. It is even worse when they get back and it seems like it was a century between the times they saw each other. In this most connected age they will probably talk at least every other day through text messaging, Facebook, e-mail and cell phones.
* Being a pretty liberal person I expect the Democrats to win the presidential election in November, but I can't stand the in-fighting that is going on. Why do they have to try and eat their young? What is more important to them: Having a Democrat in the White House or beating each other up? It is crazy that they cannot get organized.
* Bill Simmons's mailbag this week was chock full of funny and goodness. If you need a Christmas treat read his article. He is honest, funny and great at pop culture references. Plus he puts the Steriod report in proper perspective. Check it out.

* Santa loves his snow and sending it in Christmas cards is his new way to give it.
* Ohio State football will be 8-4 next year since half the team is leaving for the NFL.

We're taking bets that everyone gets a little humbug during the Holidays...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that you are all having a wonderful day and that the Holidays are treating you well. We are hoping for about 6 to 10 inches of snow in the Greater New Haven area. I love snow and how beautiful it looks. Below are a few questions that I hope you answer. Simple and easy for you all. Please ask others to join. Maybe a Christmas miracle will happen and Ian will answer a question or two. (Of course I am going to be in trouble for calling him out.) Have a great weekend!!!
A. What is one thing that drives you nuts about the Winter Holidays?
B. What is your favorite and least favorite Christmas Song?
C. How many more people do you have to buy Holiday gifts for?
Answers:
A. I cannot stand lines at the check-out counters and the fact that people get mad because their are lines. I don't like the lines, but I know they are going to happen and I have accepted that. People who get mad are just a little crazy.
B. My favorite Christmas song will always be Silent Night and Little Drummer Boy. A little religious, but they always makes me feel good. I truly dislike the Christmas Shoes song because it is too sappy and if you actually listen to it you have to hold back the tears.
C. I have about 8 more people to buy for, but some of them are small and simple gifts. Hopefully I can get it done on Sunday.

We're taking bets that I love TV and Top '07 Lists...
It is time for my Top Twenty TV shows of 2007. They have changed quite a bit from 2006, especially since my top show isn't even on the list. Since the Writer's Guild strike is still in full swing I thought it would be a good time to appreciate all of their work. (Honorable Mention: Tila Tequila: A Shot at Love, Ice Road Truckers, Doctor Who (Ian raves about it and I have to admit I enjoy it.), America's Next Top Model and Deadliest Catch)
20. Top Chef - Continually has compelling television and I cannot wait for the new season.
19. Big Bang Theory - What a funny show that I never thought I would like, but Ian suggested it and he knows his stuff.
18. NCIS - Mark Harmon is awesome and it is fun television.
17. Project Runway - I just haven't fallen in love with any of the characters yet. (Maybe Kit)
16. Battlestar Galactica - I just watched 20 episodes due to TiVo and Ian's right again.
15. CSI - It just doesn't compete with NBC's comedies, but it is great in reruns.
14. Boston Legal - Not as good as last season, but I love the addition of John Laroquette
13. House - I never thought I would be a big fan, but I got sucked in and now must watch it.
12. My Name is Earl - Earl going to jail has made the show seem fresh and Joy is the best redneck ever.
11. Life - You don't know what you are missing with this great show.
10. Scrubs - It's final season is very worth a TiVo spot.
9. Heroes - It had a great first season, boring start to the fall and a great fall Finale.
8. 30 Rock - It definitely earned it's Emmy and keeps getting funnier every week.
7. Sopranos - The Finale disappointed a few, but I thought it was a great ending to awesome television.
6. CSI: Miami - I know that David Caruso overacts, but I love the cast and it's exciting storylines.
5. How I Met Your Mother - Slapbet, Barney losing his mojo and Lily's spending obsessions. Quality Comedy!
4. Pushing Daisies - Consistently funny and well written. Different is fantastic with this show.
3. Friday Night Lights - How are you not watching this compelling drama?
2. The Office - The Funniest show on TV without a doubt.
1. LOST - Major redemption the second half of the season. I cannot wait until February.
20. Top Chef - Continually has compelling television and I cannot wait for the new season.

We're taking bets that it is hard to come up with titles every Thursday...
Hey WTBT readers!!! I am sorry for being MIA over the last three days. Busy times for me this week and sometimes the blog has to suffer. Thankfully I am back. Look for my first top '07 list tomorrow. I hope you enjoy today's questions. Hopefully at least five of you can respond.
A. You're having dinner with people you respect and admire. They all criticize a close friend of yours (not knowing he/she is a friend). The criticism is unjustified. What would you do?
B. If I swap your pen for one exactly the same without telling you is that stealing?
C. Who is your favorite movie thief/robber?
Answers:
A. I would probably interrupt everyone and explain that I know the person and do not think their criticism is correct. Usually most people would be embarrassed and stop the conversation, but I would welcome a debate if need be.
B. No because you would benefit from more ink. So actually it was like gift-giving.
C. I would have to say Butch Cassidy. Especially of when he blew up the train car into kindling. Great personality that you never wanted to get caught.

We're taking bets that growing old isn't any fun...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that everyone is getting ready for a great winter. I am predicting a lot of snow, which makes me very happy, but others seem to hate. Here are a few questions for everyone to answer. Have a great day and smile!!!
A. Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery to keep yourself looking young?
B. What do you think is the perfect age? Would you like to stay at that age for 50 years?
C. Assuming you were healthy the whole time, what age would you want to live to?
Answers:
A. Absolutely as long as it didn't make me look like my skin was as tight as a hotel bedsheet.
B. I think the perfect age is 28. Lots of great things happen at that age. I would be love to be 28 for 50 years because it is such a great age.
C. I would like to be 110 years old. That way I could see what the 2070's & 2080's were like. Since the would be drastically different from when I grew up.

WTBT Volume 92 Series 2007...
We're taking bets that...
* it is almost time for my end of the year lists.
* the Patriots even at their worst are the best team in football.
* the pepper spray beauty queen earned her tiara.
* you are beautiful if you can win a beauty contest with hives.
* the Angels made a big mistake signing Torii Hunter to a five year contract.
* this would never fly in America.
* most men don't even take off their hats or stop talking on their cell phones during the anthem.
* West Virginia will win the BCS championship.
* this baby is too big for his own good.
* it is weird that they never ever mention the father.
* kicking the ball to Chicago's Devin Hester is the dumbest thing a football team can do.
* this is the best rescued dog ever.

We're taking bets that holidays don't stop crazy...
Here are a few of my observations over the last few days...
* Miley Cyrus spoke to Oprah about what it was like to grow up. Um... she is only 15. Can she quite understand what it is like to grow up? Hell I am not even sure I know what it is like to grow up yet. She is going to head for problems in her late teens/early twenties I can feel it.
* We keep finding giant fossils of animals that exist today. Do you think at some point the big animals are going to come back and eat us all? I think it might happen.
* Forgetting to buy beer never allows you to shoot a goat. You might sleep with a goat if you had too much beer, but that is it. He should have shot his wife at least she had done something wrong. - SIDENOTE - At no point am I advocating domestic violence, but the innocent goat had nothing to do with his beer issues. Really he should have shot himself in the nuts so he could be the little baby he was being.

WTBT Volume 91 Series 2007...
We're taking bets that...
* the Celtics are probably going to win ten games in a row at some point this season.
* it is amazing that even Neil Diamond was enthralled with the Kennedy's.
* you don't understand why it had become a Fenway Park 8th inning theme song.
* Heroes was pretty interesting last night and I hope that the next two episodes are as good if not better.
* squirrels are great little animals that can cause a lot of problems.
* Matt Holliday was robbed for the NL MVP though Jimmy Rollins was deserving.
* Dane Cook's new CD/DVD is hilarious.
* prisoners need their beauty sleep.
* Barry Bonds probably won't serve any jail time.
* sometimes panty news is good news.
* at least the message was clean.

We're taking bets that we need more singers who have a message...
I have been listening to Pink's song Mr. President a lot lately. After listening to Jeff Johnson speak and mention that artists don't use their music to speak out much any more I appreciate this song even more. Check out her live version at Wembley Stadium in London.
We're taking bets that he squeezed the Charmin one too many times...
It is a sad day in Toilet Paper Land. Mr. Whipple(Dick Wilson) of the old school Charmin commercials passed away. He was 91 years old and did over 500 commercials in 21 years for the toilet paper company. Remember him as a fun guy who loved his Charmin and not as a creepy guy who loved toilet paper. :)

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...
Hottie Yvonne Strahovski from NBC's Chuck. She came out of no where to get the role and is breaking hearts every week. She has such a cute smile I can hardly take it. I hope that it survives the writer's strike.

We're taking bets that you love to sleep...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that everyone is doing fantastic even my readers currently in Prague. I know that everyone loves to sleep and the questions below are regarding sleep. I think they are some pretty fun questions so I hope you all enjoy. No questions next week as it is Turkey Day here in America. Keep coming back and answering. Get more people to read and enjoy this site. Talk to you all soon!!!
A. Where is your favorite place to sleep?
B. Where is the strangest place you’ve ever slept?
C. What is your favorite dream?
Answers:
A. I love to fall asleep on a comfortable couch. I don't roll or move as much and get a very restful sleep.
B. The strangest place I have ever slept would have to be on the floor of a car. When I was little I used to get out of my seatbelt and sleep on the floor of the back seat. I think it was the hum of the road, but it would make me fall asleep almost instantly.
C. My favorite dream is one I have had as a kid where I was a superstar in baseball playing for the Boston Red Sox. I pitched, played first base and catcher. It is a little strange I know, but that always makes me happy when I awake.

We're taking bets that a small group of people can lead to a big revolution...
Here are a few observations I have had over the last few days.
* I saw Jeff Johnson speak yesterday. He was very inspiring and brought many great things about sexism to light. He was speaking about Hip-Hop music and sexism, but he reminded us that our sexist society began thousands of years ago and although it needs to change in the music industry they are not the main group to blame. There are not enough speakers who spout the truth when it comes to making change. He inspired the group to get up and do things instead of complaining about them.
* Kevin Youkilis shaved his goatee for charity. It was probably the best thing that one person can do for both others and themselves. He really looked creepy with that bald head and long goatee.
* When you go to a speaker and you know it is going to be 2 hours it is rude to leave after one hour. It is even worse to leave in a pack of people. There is definitely something wrong with what we are teaching today's youths.

WTBT Volume 90 Series 2007...
We're taking bets that...
* everything in Pakistan is seriously going to disrupt the rest of the world.
* getting tasered is not enough punishment.
* a debate with others is almost always fun and stimulating.
* Heroes was a little cool and a little disappointing last night, but I think has set-up the excitement for the next three weeks.
* there is no movie in the coming weeks that truly excites you.
* a double overtime game in college basketball is always exciting.
* some stories you just cannot make up.
* you are kind of happy that they did not have a zoom lens because that would mean close up pictures of this guys junk.
* the New York Yankees are very lucky to have Jorge Posada back.
* this is a great hero story.

WTBT Volume 89 Series 2007...
We're taking bets that...
* going on a retreat can be extremely refreshing and tiring at the same time.
* Heroes is going to a new level tonight and hopefully will keep it up for the rest of the season.
* Adam Vinateri is starting to let pressure get to him.
* if they had paid for the pies would not have been stealing.
* it is weird for some people to hear pizza called a pie.
* the Boston Celtics have looked like a championship team so far.
* if these girls had a friend with long hair should would have been in trouble.
* sheets can get you down from a balcony only in movies.
* you didn't notice I finally got the clip to work two posts below.
* attacking a person does not get a policy changed.
* Dustin Pedroia was very deserving of his AL Rookie of the Year Award and would have been a unanimous choice if voting happened after the World Series.
* listening takes a great deal of patience and some people just don't have it.
* this idea really backfired on him.
* saying he wasn't intoxicated makes the guy seem even more idiotic.
* there is going to be a lot of complaining when the BCS picture finally gets sorted out.
* sometimes people impress you and no matter what their age you have to take notice.
* this old man thought he could use the bandana like he was in the old west.

We're taking bets that Hottie of the Week...
Hottie Lindsay Price is Ted's new girlfriend on How I Met Your Mother tonight. She is also in a potential new show Lipstick Jungle that may or may not be shown this season due to the writer's strike. A cutie who was on Coupling who has Korean/German/Irish descent. Hopefully we will get to see more of her and maybe she is Ted's future wife.

We're taking bets that peeing standing up is fun...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I hope that everyone is enjoying the week. I have a few guest questions for everyone. A few of my staff suggested these questions and I thought they were fun. I hope you all enjoy.
A. If you had to wear one pair of shoes for the rest of your life what would they be an why? (If they wore out you would replace them with the same kind.)
B. If a woman has a sex change how do you think they would pee the first time they had to try?
C. If you could have a grand, beautiful front porch with a relaxing porch swing overlooking any place or thing in the world, what would it overlook?
Answers:
A. I would wear sandals, because I love them and they are comfortable.
B. I think they would have to stand up because it is easier and fun. Though they probably would have some problem with aiming the first time. Nothing worse than rogue pee.
C. I would overlook the Atlantic Ocean in Miami because it has an awesome sunrise and sunset.

* the NBA was lucky the Nuggets-Knicks game did not turn into another fight.
* we really need to crack down on the evils of hugging.
* you are wondering if a parent was on school grounds and hugged their child during the day would they be banned from the school?
* I don't use many question marks with this style of writing.
* the NFL is happy the Patriots are not playing this week.
* this is the best little whorehouse in Texas.
* the girl with the four arms and four legs was a little unsettling.
* we may have found a place to go after we destroy this planet.

We're taking bets that you love falling back...
Hello WTBT readers!!! I cannot believe that it is November already. Time flies when you are having fun. Lots of things going on in my world, so it has been tough to blog. I hope that doesn't mean you will stop reading. I hopefully am back on the horse. Answer my questions and invite others. Have a great day and I will talk to you all soon!!!
A. It is time to turn back the clocks this weekend. Do you think this is a good process or should we get rid of it?
B. What is your favorite color of leaf during the fall?
C. We are just about a year away from the presidential election. Who do you think should be president next?
Answers:
A. I really enjoy the changing of the clocks. It is great that we can have more daylight that way.
B. I really like red leaves. They are the most vivid and make me appreciate New England because you don't see them down South.
C. I think it probably should be Hilary Clinton at this point because she has made the most sense to me and she will have Bill by her side at tough times. It is always great to have someone who did a job to give you advice when you need it. I do believe that once it gets into the primary time I might change my mind as I will have more information to make a true decision.
