Question Time!!! Hey everyone! I hope my faithful readers are doing well. Coming to you from the new WTBT Headquarters in Hamden, CT. I hope you enjoy this weeks questions. They are quite thought provoking. Put your answers in the comments section and if you have to you can be anonymous.
A. Is there anything that someone could say to you that would make you want to physically hurt them?
B. Would you actually act on that physical need?
C. Who do you prefer Grover, Big Bird or Mr. Snufflepagus? Why?
Answers:
A. Absolutely!!! If someone attacked my family with words that hurt or damaged my family I would want to physically hurt them. "Sticks & Stones" is crap because sometimes things just do hurt.
B. I hope not, but it is possible. Especially if it was a very select person. You never know what might make a person snap.
C. I am a huge Grover fan although Mr. Snufflepagus comes a close second. The Monster at the End of the Book is one of the best children's books ever written and Grover is the reason why. I used to read it to my brother when he was very little and he would laugh hysterically and Grover has always made me think of that time which I hold very dear to my heart. I also think Near & Far is classic. :)

Yay! Question time from Hamden!!
A. I think in theory, yes, there are things that people can say that make me want to punch them, but right now I can't think of any. I've been so frustrated with someone that I kicked one of those kiddie gates (used for a dog) and bent it.
B. I don't think so. I would, however, defend myself and punch back if I was punched.
C. Hands down: Mr. Snuffleupagus. Because he has a cool name, pretty eyelashes, sways when he walks and resembles an elephant. And also, I want to hug him.
Oh Question Time, how I have missed you...
A. Absolutely there is. If anyone verbally attacked my family, my close friends, and of course Steve I would want to just punch their faces in until their eyeballs came out of their anus. :-)
B. Probably not, because I'm a giant weakling and at first attempt would probably be thwarted and beaten to a pulp myself. Then my family would be hurt from the verbal attack AND worried about me because I'd be in the hospital in traction.
C. You know Greg... As soon as I read the question I thought... "What did that say? On the first page? Did that say there is a MONSTER at the end of this book???". I'm 100% with you on Grover. Super Grover was hilarious, and I LOVED "The Monster at the End of this Book" when I was a kid. I was glad my mom kept having kids, because it meant I could keep reading (to them, of course) it without looking silly. :-)
A. Yup. For the reasons mentioned already.
B. Yup, but I am not much of a threat so I am not sure it would have any effect.
C. I like all three for different reaosns! Grover is the lovable misfit. Snuffy is cute and huggable and Big Bird, well is just Big Bird. Plus, the kind of friendship that Bird and Snuffy had before others could see Snuffy is precious. I kind of wish Snuffy was still only seen by Big Bird. It let kids (me) know that it is ok to be different and believe in things that others may not know about.
Great question Greg. Congrats on your new job. How is the sleeping giant?
