We're taking bets that Passion of the Week...

Anne Hathaway has definitely grown up from her Princesss Diary Days. She was a Brokeback wife and will now be strutting her stuff in The Devil Wears Prada. Here is a great story to explain why she is a passion of the week. She also was the voice of Little Red Riding Hood in the great movie Hoodwinked. I think she has a shot to be the next Julia Roberts. Here's hoping.

We're taking bets that you didn't know this about me...

My first year of college I was nicknamed Shadow. My college Roommate Kyle Reese (Yes just like the guy in the first Terminator. He was a little obsessed.) thought I was too quiet and snuck up on people. I was like a shadow. Much better than my childhood nickname, which is another story for another time.

We're taking bets that you don't want to be haunted by the dead...

Hey Everyone!!! I hope you are all enjoying summer. Since last week only one person answered my questions I am hoping for at least 5 people this week. It probably won't happen be we can hope and dream. Remember post your answers in the comments section and you can answer anonymously if you need to. Have fun.

A. What dead person would you least want to be haunted by?

B. What is one celebrity that you feel died too early and you wish could still be here today? Why?

C. Someone has hung a sign around your neck, and you have to wear it all day long. What does it say?

Answers:

A. I think it would be my grandmother because she would always wake me at crazy hours to talk to me. She would also get me to eat a lot of Polish food and that would cause many trips to the bathroom. Lots of cabbage you know.

B. I think that Janis Joplin died way to early. I think that she would still be rocking out today. Plus she has a voice that no one has been able to even come close to sounding like.

C. Don't Feed the Bear. :)

We're taking bets that Passion of the Week...

Britney Snow is the new Passion of the Week. She started out on NBC's American Dreams and will now be in the fun teen movie John Turner Must Die. She has a knock-out smile and a very sweet personality. Maybe she can restore some normalcy to the name Britney.

We're taking bets that when you gotta go you gotta go...

It is time for another fun factoid about your blog author. When I was on a Peer Advisor retreat I had to pee really bad, but we were following another van and I was the van driver. I got out at a stop light and let someone else jump into the front seat. Of course I forgot to put the brake on and had to jump back into the car. I then ran to the side of a church and peed in their bushes. I then ran back to the car just as the light turned green.

WTBT Volume 20 Series 2006

We're taking bets that...

* only women could turn the Britney Spear's Dateline interview into a psychology experiment.
* it was weird Matt Lauer wasn't wearing socks.

* Bill Gates new venture will be successful.
* the US soccer team has to win tomorrow to even consider the World Cup a little successful.
* this guy needs to find something more exciting to do with his life.
* if Miami wins game five they will take the series in 6.
* sometimes Animal House just isn't what it is cracked up to be.

We're taking bets that it can be fun to flirt...

Hey everyone!!! I hope everyone has fun answering these questions. Get others to answer. It is fun. Post your answers in the comments section and remember you can be anonymous if you want to be. Enjoy!!!

A. What do you enjoy most about flirting?

B. Is there anything that makes you angry when driving?

C. What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Answers:

A. I think it is the potential possibility of something more. Even if you are in a committed relationship it can make you feel like you still are attractive and vibrant. As long as you stay faithful it is perfectly harmless.

B. For me it has to be people not using their blinkers. It is a simple thing to do and I would say 75% of the driving population do not do it. Why? I have no idea, but it makes me want to kill someone. :)

C. The strangest thing I have ever eaten what Japanese Beetles when I was a Cub Scout. We fried them in butter and they tasted like popcorn. I wasn't the only one to do it, but I kind of enjoyed it.

We're taking bets Ann Coulter needs this letter...

A Letter to Ann Coulter:

I appreciate that you are an ultra-conservative and have the right to express your opinion. With that being said I need to say that you are absolutely crazy. I watched you on The Tonight Show last night and you never ever answered one of his questions. That is one of the main reasons that Americans are hated around the world. We avoid being honest and direct with the public. You have made idiotic statements that I don't even think GWB could have made. Here is an example, "It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 — except Goldwater in '64 — the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted." or "Liberals hate America, they hate flag-wavers, they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam, post 9/11. Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now." There is nothing worse than a stupid liar who has lucked into fame. Please stop your angry rants about liberals and try to use your grace with words for something more positive like solving the United States' problems and not being one of them. I take solace in knowin that one day you will get yours and I just hope that I can be around to see it.

We're taking bets that...

* I never get fun stuff when I go to Home Depot.
* it was great seeing Spain beat up on the Ukraine this morning.
* it makes you laugh that people are weirded out because Britney Spear hired a "Manny".
* Dwayne Wade maybe the best clutch player in basketball.
* you should watch "The Tonight Show" and see if George Carlin gets into it with Ann Coulter.
* only the Polish fans could get called hooligans this early in the World Cup. (I am 1/2 Polish so don't get into a tizzy thinking I am being mean. Just funny.)
* sometimes you just don't want to be caught.
* Johan Santana was just too good against the Red Sox last night.
* this should outrage every American and is why we are hated around the world.

WTBT Volume 18 Series 2006

We're taking bets that...

* it sucks giving up a goal in soccer in the first 10 minutes.
* the US collapsed after that first Czech goal.
* you are not surprised Karl Rove won't be charged with a crime even though he should be.
* when you eat at KFC you know what you are getting.
* the Miami Heat will make a comeback and tie the NBA Finals.
* Ben Rothlisberger just proved that you should wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle.
* there are a lot of people pissed these aren't their parents.
* Deadwood started out great with it's season premiere.
* Dane Cook's Tourgasm was fun, but is Jay Davis going to cry every episode?
* we have officially run out of reality show ideas.

We're taking bets that Passion of the Week...

This one is strictly for the ladies. The World Cup is here and the US Soccer team plays tomorrow at noon ET. Most of the men on the US team are not the most attractive guys, but defender Oguchi Onyewu is an exception. He also could be the key to the United States success at the World Cup. Hopefully the ladies will agree with me on this pick and remember he is only 24 years old.

We're taking bets that you love to dress up...

Hey everyone!!! I hope everyone has fun answering these questions. Get others to answer. It is fun. Post your answers in the comments section and remember you can be anonymous if you want to be. Enjoy!!!

A. If you were to attend a costume party tonight, what or whom would you go as and why?

B. How do you prefer to be dressed? (Ex. business clothes, swimsuit, jeans & t-shirt)

C. If you could start a Toy Hall of Fame who would be your first 3 inductees and why?

Answers:

A. I would probably go as a baseball player. It doesn't involve a lot of set-up and I could walk around with a hat on and a baseball bat. I would even wear the stirrup socks.

B. I love to wear comfortable jeans and have on a hockey jersey. It is comfortable and airy. If I could dress like that every day and be professional I would. I would have a ton of different jerseys. It might actually be a long term goal of mine.

C. Legos, Big Wheel, Monopoly. The best board game, the best building blocks, and the best vehicle for a kid ever.

WTBT Volume 17 Series 2006

We're taking bets that...

* the frogs plague might be upon us.
* it is ridiculous that there is a 5 day break before the NBA finals.
* Katharine McPhee might be the first Idol to be in Playboy.
* Roger Clemens start in Kentucky gave a teenager a thrill of a lifetime when he allowed a first inning homerun.
* you are tired of bigotry and Macy's has fallen victim to bigots pressure.
* if you are looking for something funny check out Jack Black's confessional.
* it's about time there was a woman(Milena Govich) taking over for Dennis Farina on Law & Order.
* Melky's Cabrera's catch of Manny Rameriz's homerun try was demoralizing to the Red Sox.

WTBT Volume 16 Series 2006

We're taking bets that...

* The Sopranos finale was extremely disappointing.
* the Hurricanes got lucky on their game winning goal last night.
* Canada is officially terrorist worthy.
* you are excited that Making the Band 3 is coming back June 15th.
* the Yankees crushing Beckett last night wasn't fun for Red Sox fans.
* thankfully for New Yorkers William Weld dropped from the governor's race.
* you should love the dead, but you shouldn't LOVE the dead.
* Michelle Wie just isn't ready for the PGA tour yet.
* this isn't a way to start off your life with another person.
* TiVo gets bored during the summer.
* the baby with 3 working arms was pretty strange, but I bet he would be good at sports.
* the Miami Heat will start their run to the title tonight with a rout of the Mavericks

We're taking bets that I love paper...

As a kid I used to eat the remains of paper when I ripped it out of a notebook. Although I don't do it much anymore, every once in a while I will eat a small piece for the memories.

We're taking bets that you know everything...

Hi everyone!!! It is question time at WTBT. Sorry it is a day late, but I was on some personal business away from my home base. I hope everyone has fun answering these questions. They are pretty simple and somewhat thought-provoking. Get others to answer. It is fun. Post your answers in the comments section and remember you can be anonymous if you want to be.

A. Are you a know-it-all in a geeky sort of way (ala Cliff Clavin from Cheers) about anything? What is it?

B. Which of the following places do you think would be the most fun to live in: a tree, a cave, or an underwater lair? Why?

C. Would you be willing to commit perjury in court for a close friend? What if your lie would save his/her life?

Answers:

A. Although I tend to be Cliff Clavin about a lot of things I think that I am most like that with movies and television. I have such a love for visual entertainment that I have retained so much of that information on a somewhat creepy level.

B. Because I have such a love for the water I would love to live there. Though I am not sure if that means I would have to be submerged or not. If that was the case I would choose a cave because they are always cool.

C. I would lie unless my friend had done something that I considered a mortal sin and they did not have a valid excuse for it. Especially if it would save there life. There is only about 5 or 6 people in the world that I would do that for as well. So you would have to be very close to me.
