Did you hear what Lance Armstrong did in Scotland? I would be lucky to get my best friend to come if I gave him a direct invite and he probably owes me one. (Actually I probably owe him.) It is amazing to me the power of the technology today. Granted I still don't have a cell phone, but I still get by and I understand most technology better than people with cell phones. Everyone is now a little bit international. I mean a bike ride with Lance Armstrong is cool on so many levels as long as he isn't racing you. Then you are pretty much done.
People can say all they want about Lance doping, but I have a hard time believing it. The amount he has done to help find a cure for cancer and making it cool in the process is amazing. Everyone wants a little piece of him. Though I am glad the wristband craze has faded out. More celebrities need to be involved in causes as publically as Lance. He has completely put himself out there. Lots of them donate time, which is great, but to actually explain why you support said charity and inspire others is what all celebrities can do. Even Heidi and Spencer who are fake celebrities. I just wanted you all know that Lance Armstrong inspires me to do what I can. As he said in Dodgeball...
"Quit? You know, once I was thinking of quitting when I was diagnosed with brain, lung and testicular cancer all at the same time. But with the love and support of my friends and family, I got back on the bike and won the Tour de France 5 times in a row. But I'm sure you have a good reason to quit. So what are you dying of that's keeping you from the finals?... Well, I guess if a person never quit when the going got tough, they wouldn't anything to regret for the rest of their life. Well good luck to you!"

At first I was semi-offended that you didn't think I would show up, but then I realized it was to ride a bike and I was like, "Yeah...I wouldn't."
But I'd totally come cheer you and Ian on! :)
Ellen does things like this on Twitter...kind of. She says things like, "Whoever brings me a can of garbanzo beans first gets $1000. I am at the XYZ square near the fountain."
Sadly, she's never in Boston...cause you know. What else do I have to do!?! :)
