We're taking bets that Einstein didn't know everything...

Thirsty Thursday Everyone!!! That means it is also Question Time at WTBT. Please post your answers in the comments section. This should be a fun activity for all. Learn about the others that read this blog. Invite your friends. Have a good time.

A. What is your favorite music lyric currently? (Not your all-time favorite, but the one you really like right now.)

B. If you knew that someone was dying, but they didn’t know, would you tell them the truth or deceive them about it?

Answers:

A. Currently I am enamored with Click Five and their lyrics in the song Just the Girl. My favorite line is "She laughs at my dreams But I dream about her laughter" I think it is such a great line.

B. That is a tough call. I don't think so. I think that if I knew exactly when they were going to die I wouldn't probably tell them because who wants to hear that. It would make everything dreadful for them the last week of their life. If I knew that they were dying, but didn't know the date I might tell them, but who would believe me. I am not a doctor and people have outlived "death dates" before. I think that it is better not to know. Though I guess from the day we are born we are then dying; it may just take 100 years.

A. For no appearant reason, I like Kelly Clarkson's Behind these Hazel Eyes these days. Its a sad song, but she sings such anger...the line I like best is "Swallow me then spit me out;
For hating you, I blame myself. Seeing you it kills me now; No, I don't cry on the outside
Anymore..."

B. I wouldn't want to tell them, but I am not sure I could keep that information to myself. I probably would be able to keep the secret because if the tables were turned, I wouldn't want to know how/when/where I would die.

1. You stole mine. Just yesterday when I was on the road taking pics, I heard that song a billion times and each time that line was sung I thought, "Wow, I really like that line." But, I also secretly hated it...

2. I would not tell someone if I knew they were dying unless I knew they had 1 thing they always wanted to do before they died and it was an obtainable dream. Then I think I'd tell them, b/c, well...they could achieve it. If I knew it was an unobtainable dream, I wouldn't be mean and say, "Hey, you're dying next week-too bad you don't have time to...."

A. Ever since WHOB became FRANK FM I've been listening to a lot more country. So, that being said, my current lyrics that I am 'enamored' with are the following:
"I ain't as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was."
That's Toby Keith, I believe.

B. I wouldn't want to tell them, because I wouldn't want to know myself. However, because I would probably be a blathering mess, I would also end up avoiding them, which is even sadder. In other words - I just don't want to know either.

Good questions.

A) To some extent, it's unfair to hold out on information about a person you care about. But, I think I would gauge it based on how I think that person would take it. Some people might want to live those remaining moments to their fullest, and others may spend that time drowning in self-pity. Not that it's always easy to guess...

B) Oh, man... the lyrics I currently have stuck in my head...
"Some balls are held for charity and some for fancy dress, but when they're held for pleasure they're the balls that I like best. My balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right. It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night."
-AC/DC, "Big Balls" always brings a smile to my face.
I'll also add, briefly, "I went to the doctor, to see what he could give me." He said, 'Son, son, you've gone too far 'cause smokin' and trippin' is all that you do.'" -Black Sabbath, "Faeries Wear Boots"

A. Green Day. Damn, are they awesome or what? Now the line...from Boulevard of Broken Dreams..."My shadow's the only one that walks beside me."

B. Simply, no. I wouldn't want to know if someone knew that about me. I wouldn't want to saddle anyone with that kind of info.
