We're taking bets that you can wax on and wax off...

Here are a few thoughts from the holiday weekend.

* Karate Kid's Pat Morita passed away this weekend. He is probably most famous for his lines "wax on, wax off" and "paint the fence". He was actually a great comedic actor and his was in over 90 movies throughout his career. I for one will fondly remember his days as Arnold on Happy Days. :)

* Jay Feely of the NY Giants missed 3 Field Goals from the end of regulation into overtime and the Giants lost. It sucks when you have only one job on a football team and you can't even do it right 33% of the time. I know kicking a football is very hard, but that is really a bad day on the job. He makes over $600,000 a year. Imagine if you screwed up one day 66% of the time. You probably would be looking for a new job.

* Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have finally broken up. It really is a shame because they really did look happy in their wedding photos. I think that celebrity actually was the main cause for this and if they did not do their Newlyweds TV show I think they may have been a successful couple. She really is a stupid girl too, which leads me to believe that she will be marrying Tom Green or Michael Jackson at some point in her life.

* The battle over the "Holiday Tree" in Boston was absolutely crazy. Even the ACLU said it was okay from Boston to call it a Christmas Tree. Have we gotten so freaking PC that stories like this have to happen. First off it gave Jerry Falwell headlines, which can never be a good thing. Secondly it made us hear more from "The Mumbler" Tom Menino and lastly I had to see a graphic on the news telling what the top Massachusetts politicians thought about it. (Everyone said it should be a Christmas Tree.) All I want for Christmas is a little reality check for all the stupid people in the world.

I don't really give a crap what they call the stupid tree, it's too freaking soon for an xmas tree. Seriously. It's not even the right month. That's what people should be more concerned about... How xmas is over taking 1/4 of the year. Isn't it supposed to be one day?
I've been forcing xmas down people's throats since October 2nd. Oh the joys of retail. And people wonder why I'm bitter about the "holidays."
