We're taking bets that you should pay your RENT...

This past weekend I saw the movie Rent. It is the film version of the Pulitzer and Tony award winning Broadway play. Six of the eight original cast members are back including Jesse L. Martin and Taye Diggs. All of the songs are incredible. Idina Menzel who plays Maureen definitely has one of the best voices on Broadway. The great thing about the movie is that it fills in some of the gaps that you don't get with the play version. I do agree that some of the movie is a little over the top, but I think that the play itself, while excellent, is sometimes a little over the top. This should be a must see for all ages. Rent is easily one of the most exuberant films of the year.

"Exuberant" is a great word. It is just as great as such words as "penultimate". :-)

Greg's great with vocabulary, isn't he. :-)

Greg... I'll pay you $1 if you can effectively use the word "Penultimate" in your next entry. ;-)
