WTBT Volume 49 Series 2007...

We're taking bets that...

* Josh Beckett should be the AL All Star Starting pitcher.
* I actually agree with the Supreme Court on this ruling.
* advocating illegal drug use isn't funny.
* the best tennis tournament in the world is now underway.
* you have to absolutely love Wisconsin.
* Ken Griffey Jr. was simply amazing in Seattle.
* too bad the rest of the Cincinnati Reds are awful.
* this lady should be a hero for uncovering fraud possibilities and not in jail.
* sadly the lion does sleep tonight.
* Oregon St. is the place to go to play college baseball.
* some days it is tough to be truly funny.

I'm with you on the Supreme Court ruling against the student in this case. It's not funny, and if he really wanted to test his freedom of speach he could have written lots of other things to do so. It sounds like he was just being a smart ass.

Too bad too, because having kids get involved with freedom and their rights is a good thing.

Onto the fraudulent ballots-I disagree with you that she should be considered a hero. Yes, she did prove that there are inconsistancies in the process, but what does she propose they should do to fix them? Oh-she doesn't have any ideas? She was just causing trouble, instilling a sense of mis-trust in the government...I'm all for uncovering things but do it a different way-with the cooperation of someone on the inside so you don't get in trouble and so they can start working on a plan if you succeed.

I'm glad she's not protesting it.

Remember that George Washington and everyone else in the Revolutionary War were considered heroes after initially being "law breakers".

Yes, you are right. But I think that is a bit different in that they took their protest and pretty much left to start a new life.

They also had LOTS of new ideas and invented a new way to live-they had SOLUTIONS.

This woman-none.
