We're taking bets that Catholic priests aren't the only bad guys...

I came across this story and it made me wonder what the parishoners are doing now. I do understand greed as it is one of the seven deadly sins, (If you are curious about the others go rent SE7EN) but I do not understand it in this case. Did the pastor really need a BMW? Did he think he wasn't going to get caught? I mean when people showed up to go to church and it was now a dance club, what did he think was going to happen. 18 months really seems short considering the amount of things he plead guilty to. Plea bargins sometimes really bother me, especially on Law & Order where they have at least one crazy plea bargain an episode.

No where in the article does it tell you what happened to the church. Did everyone have to go somewhere else. Who actually purchased the church? Was it those crazy atheists who just wanted a place to gather for no reason? :) It is stories like these that make me wonder if there really is anyone you can trust. It is sad that we need to be skeptical about everyone's motives at least a little bit. I like to look at life as an optimist, but sometimes it is just real hard.

On a happier note, this story made me smile. Why you might ask? First of all, what is Lindsay Lohan doing in Bryan Adams shower? It is nice to see Bryan getting a little press since he hasn't had a hit in at least 5 years. Secondly do you think that it is important she was in the shower? Who cares if she was in the shower and more importantly why didn't they tell us what type of lotion she was using? The lotion here is clearly the bad guy and the company should be sued for hurting one of America's teen queens. Lastly, why is this news at all? I think we have gotten to the point where people want to know whether celebrities went number 2 each day. I do have to say that Lindsay does look sultry in the picture at the top of the article. Hopefully she continues to eat. We can hope and pray.

I think it's funny that in the story about the pastor it says he used the money to by a BMW-but didn't really elaborate much more, but in the other story about Lindsay, we have little details like where she was showering.

Crazy.

My question is how does a gash that needs stitches happen by dropping a teacup? Granted the pieces are sharp, but wouldn't you need pressure to get a gash deep enough to require stitches?

Also, who has tea in the shower?

Better question... what was Lindsay Lohan doing in Bryan Adams' shower and having her friends there... WHEN HE WASN'T EVEN HOME?!?!?!?!?!

It's eerily echoing that Alanis Morrisette song "Would You Forgive Me Love" or whatever it's called... that secret track... when she's in the guy's house going through his stuff and wearing his bathrobe and taking a bath when he wasn't even home. Yeah. Creepy, I tell ya.
