We're taking bets that you were amazed by Tedy Bruschi...

Tonight I watched Tedy Bruschi lead the New England Patriots over the Buffalo Bills. To be quite honest Tedy didn't do all that much except play a normal game for him. He was definitely the reason they won though. The funny thing is there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that they weren't going to pull through. Tedy is one of those unique individuals who makes everyone around him better. He is what a leader is all about.

For those of you who don't know he had a stroke only 10 days after winning his third Super Bowl ring with the Patriots. He was told that he would not play this season on July 22nd. Less than eight months after a mild stroke he was cleared to play professional football. His presence on the football field make the Patriots a World Champion caliber football team if only for the leadership he brings. I will never forget seeing him play with his kids on the field before Super Bowl XXXIX. He is someone I will root for forever. Thank you Tedy Bruschi for inspiring me and hopefully millions of others.

Agreed. 100%.

One of my favorite shots of the night was when the camera went on his wife Heidi yelling "Get him, GET HIM!!" prior to Bruuuuu tackling someone (I don't remember who it was, I was battling the sleep gnomes at that point). The absolute pride in his wife's face was just great.

On a side note... let's not forget the incredible Brady-Branch play that led to the TD in the 4th. :-)

BRUUUUUUUUUU
